Plano Concave Lens is a negative (diverging) spherical lens with one concave surface and one flat (plane) surface. We manufacture and supply these Lenses for diverging the collimated incident light, as in a Galilean type beam expander or telescope. These Lenses form virtual images, which are seen through the lens. Often, these Lenses are used to expand light or to increase focal lengths in existing systems. A unique characteristic of this lens is that it can balance the aberration caused due to the other lenses. This property is due to the negative spherical aberration of the Plano-Concave Lens.

We bring forth for our clients high quality Bi-Concave Lens that is manufactured with both surfaces concave. These lenses have negative focal length, and are appropriate for diverging collimated incident light. The lenses form virtual images that can be seen through the lens. Often, these lenses are used to expand light, or increase focal lengths in existing systems. Bi-concave lenses are best suited for places where the input beam is converging, as in laser beam expanders, optical character readers, viewers, and projection systems.
